Creating art from nature
Pouring beeswax in to molds is a tradition hundreds of years old, and beeswax has been used in art as far back as 5th century B.C. I use primarily antique and vintage stoneware molds, and pour only the cleanest triple filtered 100% pure beeswax. No additives or scents are used in the beeswax.
I may, however, add embellishments collected on our beaches, or perhaps crushed colored glass or tile. Whimsy rules in the studio!
Some pieces are painted, and many are plain, letting the beauty of the wax shine.
“I'm a huge fan of Faye's work! The beeswax smells so heavenly, and my hummingbird heart looks lovely hanging in my kitchen window!"
